2012 Summer Fun
The WFFC has been busy this summer. In addition to unveiling a new brand identity and our new marketing collateral and preparing for our upcoming momentous 30th Open Dinner, the WFFC has brought our members exciting summer programs…
In June 2012, the WFFC honored Pherne Lewis, Sales, Aroma Chemicals, BASF for the Women of the Year event at the Chart House. In addition, the Chicago chapter launched as 2012 board members were sworn in and guests mingled at Vosges Haut-Chocolat for a wine, cheese and chocolate tasting.
July began with WFFC’s annual golf outing at the Farmstead Golf and Country Club with 102 golfers and 18 additional dinner guests. At the end of July the WFFC and Takasago hosted a Japanese inspired fragrance and flavor event at Takasago’s facilities in Rockleigh, NJ. The evening consisted of Japanese fare, an authentic Tea Ceremony hosted by a certified Tea Master and a Takasago smelling and tasting session. Meanwhile, the Cincinnati chapter was active hosting a food and wine pairing event with Amy Tobin at the Party Source.
