Color trends have been influencing our society for centuries. These trends, which are often linked to the economy, will be explored and explained as to how they are chosen and influenced by world events, music and celebrities. Alison Griffin will teach us how to ‘decode the crystal ball’ when it comes to color trends and how they translate into cosmetics, fashion, decor, etc.
Alison Griffin has over 25 years of experience in the Cosmetics & Personal Care industry. Starting her career in R&D, she has worked in both the finished good end (Avon Skin Care Lab) as well as in the supplier end. She has 20 years of experience in raw material sales, 10 of which have been for pigments companies.
She has been the recipient of Regional Sales Awards and the Regional Marketing Innovation Awards, is a past NYSCC Chapter Chair and recipient of the Chapter Merit Award, as well as several SCC Chapter “Best Speaker” awards. She has a B.S. (Biology) from Gettysburg College and an M.A. (Cosmetic Science) from Fairleigh-Dickinson University.
