The WFFC would like to invite all their active members to participate in a seminar to discuss future plans on how we, as an organization, can be more gender inclusive while continuing to engage, empower and educate women. This seminar will feature our guest speaker, Deb Guston, a lawyer for New Jersey as well as an activist to support the rights of the LGTBQ+ community. She will educate us to understand more about the importance of inclusivity and our own gender bias we may have.
The WFFC will also introduce a proposed resolution for the membership to vote on which states that any use of the words “women” or “woman” in our bylaws, will include those that are non-binary as well as transgender women. We hope that you will attend after reading the resolution with questions as well as an open-mind to learning more about how the WFFC can be more inclusive.
If you cannot attend, the meeting will be recorded and sent out with the email where we will ask the membership to submit their votes. Anyone, who wishes to send any questions ahead of time are able to by sending them to Jennifer at jennifer@wffc.org
