Yes. Men may join as a Subscriber Members. The only difference is that a Subscriber Members cannot vote or hold office.
Yes. Women who are enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs who are not currently employed in the Flavor and Fragrance industry qualify for Student Membership with reduced dues and may join as a Student Members. The only difference is that a Student Members cannot vote or hold office.
WFFC membership is good for one year. Our membership is based on a calendar year beginning January 1st and ending December 31st of the same year. Each year, members are responsible for renewing their individual memberships. Renewals are sent December 1st each year. New members who pay dues in the last quarter of a calendar year will have membership benefits for the entirety of the following calendar year.

WFFC Active and Subscriber membership is $100 for one year. WFFC Student membership is $15 for one year. The WFFC must receive written notification by email that you wish to cancel your event registration, by the registration deadline, which is 7 calendar days prior to events.
Yes. As long as you are a member in good standing of one of the WFFC’s Chapters, you are welcome to attend any Chapter’s events and receive the reduced member rate.
Yes. However, guests and non-members pay a higher rate to attend a WFFC event. Guests and non-members are not allowed to attend member-only meetings.
No. However, you may bring guests and non-members to a WFFC event. They will pay a higher rate to attend a WFFC event. Guests and non-members are not allowed to attend member-only meetings. If your guest becomes a member at the event, the WFFC will refund the difference in the rates.
Yes. The WFFC welcomes Active and Subscriber members from outside of the United States.
No. At this time the WFFC does not have any international chapters. If you are interested in starting an international chapter, please email us.
If your company is not already listed as a Corporate Sponsor, we’d love to have your support. Corporate Sponsorship is $500 and runs from September 1st through August 30th of a given year. The WFFC is run by volunteers and the best way to get involved is to join a WFFC committee. You do not need to be local to join a committee; many of the committee meetings are by phone or video conference.
Currently, the WFFC organizes more than 20 flavor and fragrance events each year. The events range from intimate networking experiences to educational seminars to recognition dinners. The WFFC has four anchor events: our Annual Gala, Recognition Dinner, Golf Outing and Educational Seminar.
To be eligible for either the Rita Flynn Memorial Fragrance Scholarship Award or the WFFC Flavor Scholarship Award, you must be a woman enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in one of the allied disciplines of the flavor or fragrance industries including, but not limited to, business, chemistry, biology, engineering, marketing, nutrition, food science, microbiology, and cosmetics and fragrance marketing. The WFFC is a 501(c)(6) organization, whose main purpose is as a trade association. Since we are not a charity, institute of education, or religious organization, we do not qualify as a 501(c)(3) and therefore we are not exempt from paying sales tax.
