WFFC Announces 2012 Fall Seminar - “India 360 - An Exploration of India’s Raw Material Resources and Market”
NEPTUNE, NJ Women in Flavor & Fragrance Commerce is pleased to announce the 2012 Fall Seminar will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at the Saddle Brook Marriott, located at 138 Pehle Avenue, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663-5230.
The seminar will focus on India, both as a vital supply source for the flavor and fragrance industry and as a growing consumer market. The WFFC has an exciting lineup of speakers. Under the title “India 360 - An Exploration of India’s Raw Material Resources and Market,” the discussion topics will include: “Essential Oils, Oleoresins and Floral Extractives of South India” - George Paul (Director, Synthite Industries Ltd); “Indian Aromatics: From There to Here” – George Janow (Vice President, Purchasing, Berje Inc.); “The Story of India's Mint Oils and Menthol” – Dr. Brian Lawrence (CEO, Blawrenceconsulting and Editor for Natural Products, Perfumer & Flavorist Magazine); “India’s Changing Market Landscape: Flavor and Fragrance”– Shilpa Panicker (Vice President, Oralcare North America, Symrise Inc.) and Doreen Bucher (Vice President Marketing, Fine Fragrance, Symrise Inc.). The presentations will be followed by an Indian-themed lunch.

The WFFC, Inc. was founded in 1982 by women employed in various capacities in the U.S. flavor and fragrance industry. This organization was borne out of a recognized need for a networking, education and support system for women in our industry. Our mission has been and remains to this day to provide a center of education, camaraderie, support and networking opportunities for women in our industry.
