WFFC Announces 2016 Scholarship Recipients

Glen Rock, NJ – Women in Flavor & Fragrance Commerce (WFFC) is pleased to announce the 2016 WFFC scholarship award recipients.

Natali Bernstein is the 2016 recipient of the Rita Flynn Memorial Fragrance Scholarship Award. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership specialized in Strategic Planning at Quinnipiac University. Ms. Bernstein is a co-founder of the Employees Activity Committee at International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF). Through this committee, she organizes several events such as Toys for Tots, Women Aware, The Giving Tree, The Salvation Army New Brunswick Corps, Movember Foundation, and Earthshare.

Penni Clemons is the 2016 recipient of the WFFC Flavor Scholarship Award. While working full-time in the Logistics Department at Flavor Producers, Ms. Clemons is working towards her Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management at Ashford University. In addition to her stellar academic records, Ms. Clemons has long been a community contributor to the Milford High School since 2008. She has served on its Board of Directors, and chaired several committees, such as Milford High School Touchdown Club, Milford Athletic Booster, Team Hoodie, Team Yard Signs/ Decals and the Youth Football and Cheerleading programs.

The WFFC, Inc. was founded in 1982 by women employed in various capacities in the U.S. flavor and fragrance industry. This organization was borne out of a recognized need for a networking, education and support system for women in our industry. Our mission has been and remains to this day to provide a center of education, camaraderie, support and networking opportunities for women in our industry. Our membership encompasses women involved in sales, purchasing, customer service as well as technical careers.
